We hope everyone had a great Summer and enjoyed the pool season as much as we have. With the season coming to an end, and school starting back up, the pool hours will be moving to weekend hours. Starting September 6th after Labor Day, the pool will be available during weekend hours only. However, the weekend schedule will extend until October 23rd to give back some of the time the pool was down for the replaster project in July. Let’s make the most of what is left and enjoy the poolside. We hope to see all of you next Summer! Click Full Story for more information.

We are updating the community of the extended pool closure. We extended the closure to August 6th due to pocket voids discovered behind the old plaster. To ensure the pool plaster would not delaminate, the contractors recommended we extend the closure for the plaster to cure correctly. However, they may be able to have this completed by August 4th. The HOA is preparing to shut down the pool for 3 weeks starting July 11th – 29th to replaster the pool surface and reopen tentatively on or before August 1st.
The decision to close the pool and start renovations came in the wake of the current issues and complaints of how rough the surface plaster has become. We feel that performing the repair now, will benefit the community going into the 2023 pool season, since we will not have to wait in line for service during the off season. The condition of the pool is safe for Homeowners to enjoy. It may appear to be dirty, but after a recent attempt to acid wash the bottom of the pool to brighten the plaster for the current pool season, the result was less than desirable. We did not want to delay the opening of the pool indefinitely to make a repair that was aesthetic only. We have a plan to replaster after we close the pool at the conclusion of the 2022 swim season. Please see below for additional details. Click Full Story for more information.

This letter is a friendly reminder that as a part of Verandah Homeowners association, it is your responsibility to maintain your lawn in excellent condition. The exterior of your house has a great impact on the overall scenery of the neighborhood. If you ignore your yard, it will not remain aesthetically appealing for other members of the HOA.
