Storm Damage
Published: June 6, 2024
In the wake of the May 28th storm containing high winds and heavy rains, many Homeowners Associations and other areas across DFW suffered damages and as we know, many owners and businesses were left without power for many days.
In a number of the communities Essex manages, damages were sustained ranging from downed trees and powerlines, plants and vegetation destroyed, street and stop signs toppled, fences and walls damaged or blown down and more. We understand this is a difficult time for all who were affected, and we wanted to take this opportunity to let all Owners, Residents, and Occupants know we are currently assessing damages and working diligently with our local resources to prepare for and initiate cleanup and necessary repairs.
You may notice a delay on some tasks as we may be waiting for insurance adjusters to inspect the damages or reports from our field inspectors as this information is essential if the Association will be filing a claim for damages.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us through your Association’s website under the “Contact Us” tab and select “General Question” in the drop-down menu. Thank you for your patience as we navigate through the aftermath of this storm.
